Dr. Amy E. Bell
Diplomate, American Board of Optometry

Dr. Bell grew up in Cascade, Iowa.  After completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa, she graduated magna cum laude from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.  She also trained at the Illinois Eye Institute and Westside VA Hospital.

Dr. Bell is one of the first optometrists in the Milwaukee area to attain National Board Certification in Optometry.  This certification requires optometrists to earn more than double the yearly required hours of education compared to other licensed optometrists.  This guarantees that Dr. Bell is practicing with complete understanding of the latest technology and treatments for medical eye care.
Since 1993 Dr. Bell has been in Menomonee Falls.  Professionally, she is a member of the American Optometric Association, Wisconsin Optometric Association, Milwaukee Optometric Society, and Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity.  For the past 8 years, Dr. Bell has volunteered on a mission trip, providing eye care to those who have never had access to it.

Together with her husband, Jonathan, and 2 sons, Matthew and Chris, Dr. Bell enjoys camping, skiing, kayaking, hiking, and biking.  She is active in the community as a member of the Milwaukee Handbell Ensemble, a Boy Scout merit badge counselor, and a volunteer photographer for the Germantown High School music program, as well as in church activities, including teaching Sunday school and directing the youth handbell choir.
